Task 1

Task – To produce a powerpoint presentation with the following title – “Are the London Olympics going to cause a flood hazard along the Thames?”

You will be using Ordnance Survey maps to collect evidence that there is a flood risk in the area where the Olympics are to be held.  You should decide if there is a flood risk or not and then choose a flood prevention strategy which could be used and justify your choice. 

Task 2

Aim: To research the medieval village 

Task: You need to complete a project on a “medieval village”.  You need to base our project around the Domesday book and other primary sources.

You could include information on:

• Where they lived
• How they lived
• Clothes/food/entertainment
• Jobs/work

You need to ensure that the information in the project is in your own words and include some pictures and diagrams. You could also include a model of a village.
