• The English Department set coursework tasks for GCSE English Language and Literature to ensure that G&T candidates are enabled to "make cogent and critical responses to texts, in which they explore and evaluate alternative and original interpretations." These general critria for A* grades allow our more able students to demonstrate originality of analysis and interpretation.
