Humanities

At Key Stage 4 the Humanities department is split into Geography and History,  both are options for GCSE.

The History GCSE follows a very comprehensive course where work is primarily evidence based.  This allows pupils the opportunity to research source information and tackle very open ended questions.

In Year 10, Geography is a popular option involving a compulsory field trip as part of the GCSE requirement. During Year 11 there is an optional second coursework.
